Portland St. Patrick at Saranac – – Baseball – – Second Game of Doubleheader – – The Bleacher Denizen – – May 5, 2025 – – by Chuck Krafft

Today, your Bleacher Denizen thought he was going to cover softball between the Saranac Red Hawks and the Portland St. Patrick Shamrocks, but the weather forced a change in the plans when the softball field was too wet for the game. Your Bleacher Denizen saw that they were going to play the baseball games and pivoted to the baseball game.
(Pivot is a business and political jargon term. Never had I thought I would use a term like that in a Bleacher Denizen article, but you never know what fate will bring you. (I feel SO educated!!) Before your Bleacher Denizen injures himself patting his own back, perhaps I should post the play by play of the opening game. https://thebleacherdenizen.com/2025/05/06/portland-st-patrick-at-saranac-baseball-first-game-of-doubleheader-the-bleacher-denizen-may-5-2025-by-chuck-krafft/

While we wait for the second game of the doubleheader to get underway, I hope you will enjoy this Boogie Woogie tune from my You Tube Channel! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1MxOus8t44
