While we wait for this game to begin, I hope you will enjoy this cover video of “Down South in New Orleans” which has a calypso type beat that was way ahead of its time in the country music of 1955, when it was first released!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QUZ5FrpeFA

Peyton Eklund has also contributed 34 three point baskets this yera.
It is now time to review the events of this game through the somewhat clear lenses of an Aging Bleacher Denizen who was never able to escape church league in the days of yore when he attempted to hoop. His coach did not appreciate the Bleacher Denizen’s creative approach to scoring.
The coach insisted that the Bleacher Denizen only shoot at the basket the rest of his team shot at. The Bleacher Denizen felt this unnecessarily impeded his creativity as sometimes, he was moved to shoot at the other basket. He loved the fact that the “defense” did not disrupt him when he aimed at this other basket and he also loved the cheers from the opposing crowd when he made baskets. His coach whined about points being added to the other team’s score before he finally gave the Bleacher Denizen’s playing time to teammates who were less creative about their approach to shooting. Alas.
