Fowler vs. Grand Ledge – – Hall of Fame Softball Classic Quarterfinal – – The Bleacher Denizen – – May 19, 2025 – – by Chuck Krafft
Today, your Bleacher Denizen is at Ranney Park in Lansing waiting for the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame’s annual softball classic to begin! Every year, Bob Every, the Director of the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame and his team including Jeff Kegler, who announces, keeps official score and runs the scoreboard, invite the eight best teams in the Lansing Area to compete in this event.
Ranney Park is maintained by Bob Every and the Hall of Fame. They keep the field in beautiful conditions. It is a beautiful place for the best teams in the area to compete every spring!
It is a cold day for softball today. Also, your Bleacher Denizen is scrambling because he managed to forget to pay an annual fee to keep the website running. Thanks to consultant Ron Kramer from Michigan Network Consultants for springing into action and doing what was necessary to get the website back. As you can see, he was successful!
