Portland St. Patrick vs. Dansville – – MHSAA Regional Baseball Semifinal – – The Bleacher Denizen – – June 5, 2025 – – by Chuck Krafft

Today, your Bleacher Denizen is on his way to Fulton’s baseball field where the Aggies from Dansville and the Shamrocks from Portland St. Patrick will compete in the baseball district semifinal.

Dansville won the district it hosted last week. St. Patrick got to this game by beating a tough Fulton team in this game that was made challenging by rain. https://thebleacherdenizen.com/2025/05/31/fulton-vs-portland-st-patrick-mhsaa-baseball-district-final-the-bleacher-denizen-may-30-2025-by-chuck-krafft/

This game was also delayed by rain as it was supposed to be played yesterday. This will also challenge teams because the regional final and quarterfinal will be played Saturday. Pitchers who pitch today may not be ready to pitch Saturday. It is almost a perfect baseball day in Fulton this afternoon (as opposed to the conditions in the highlighted game from last week.)

This game will feature two of the best pitchers I have seen this season. Wyatt Mosley will pitch for Dansville. He has a Division I scholarship to West Virginia and will play there next year. I have also seen Brady Leonard, the St. Patrick pitcher, pitch some spectacular baseball in the past.

St. Patrick won the coin flip and will be the home team. Dansville will bat first. Here are the starting lineups!
