It is now time to look at this game through the rose-colored lenses of an Aging Bleacher Denizen who has never liked rose-colored lenses. At least the baseball is white!!!

Tyler Bercaw beat out an infield single to open the game for Mason. Cody Ream struck out the next Mason batter. Tyler Bercaw stole second base. The next Mason hitter was out on a fly to center field. Tyler Bercaw stole third base. Cody Ream struck out the next Bulldog batter to end the inning.

Ryan Myers retired the Aggie first inning leadoff hitter on a fly to center field. Zachary Sykes was safe on a two base error. Cody Ream singled to send Zachary Sykes to third base; Zachary Sykes scored and Cody Ream took second base on an errant throw. Cody Ream scored when Wyatt Mosley was safe at second base on an error. Wyatt Mosley took third base and then scored on two consecutive wild pitches.

Ryan Myers struck out the next batter and got the third out on a grounder to second base to end the inning.

Dansville scored three runs in the top of the first inning to take a 3-0 lead.

Cody Ream retired the three Mason second inning batters on a popup to the shortstop, a strike out and a fly to the shortstop.

Ryan Myers retired the Aggie leadoff batter in the bottom of the second inning on a grounder to third base. Quentin Mayes walked. The next Aggie hitter struck out. Mason Catcher fought off the wind to catch a foul popup for the third Dansville out.

Cody Ream retired the three Bulldog third inning batters on a fly to left field, a strikeout and a bouncer that Dansville second baseman Quentin Mayes fielded barehanded and threw to first to retire the runner.

Ryan Myers retired the Aggie third inning leadoff batter on a grounder to first base. Mason Second Baseman Maddox Armour made a nice play on a liner off the bat of Cody Ream to record the second Aggie out. The next batter was out on a soft fly to the pitcher to end the inning.

After three innings, Dansville has a 3-0 lead.

Cody Ream retired the Mason leadoff batter on a liner to the shortstop. Quentin Mayes came in to pitch for Dansville. Cody Ream moved to shortstop and Dylan Ream to second base.

With one out, Isaac Johnson singled for Mason. Isaac Johnson took third base on an errant throw. Connor Osypczuk walked and stole second base. Nathan Sherwood made a fine play on a liner off the bat of Hunter Brackenwagen to record the second Bulldog out. Ty Hall walked to load the bases. Isaac Johnson scored, Connor Osypczuk took third base and Ty Hall advanced to second on a wild pitch.

Austin Hovey came in to pitch for Dansville. Quentin Mayes moved to second base and Dylan Ream went out to left field. Shane Braughton made an excellent (if unsuccessful) effort on a foul popup. Austin Hovey struck out the next Bulldog batter to end the inning.

Mason scored one run in the top of the fourth inning to trim the Dansville lead to 3-1.

Dylan Ream walked to lead off the bottom of the fourth inning for Dansville and stole second base. Ryan Myers struck out the next batter. Dylan Ream stole third base as the next Aggie batter struck out. Ryan Myers got the third out of the inning on a foul popup to first base.

Dustin Budzynski was hit by a pitch to lead off the top of the fifth inning for Mason. Dustin Budzynski scored when an error was made on a sacrifice bunt by Maddox Armour. Maddox Armour ended up on third base and scored on a wild pitch. Tyler Bercaw was safe at second base on an error. Colton McCaleb hit a solid single to center field to advance Tyler Bercaw to third base. Colton McCaleb advanced to third base and Tyler Bercaw scored on a wild pitch.

Dansville pitcher Austin Hovey threw the runner out at home on a comebacker to the mound to get the second out. Isaac Johnson was safe at first on the play. Johnathan Bolton came in to pinch run for Isaac Johnson. Dansville Catcher Shane Braughton fired a strike to second base to catch the runner stealing and record the final second out of the inning. Connor Osypczuk drew a walk and stole second base. Austin Hovey struck out the next Bulldog hitter to end the inning.

Mason scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning to take a 4-3 lead.

Ryan Myers struck out all three Aggie hitters in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Because it was starting to get dark, the game was called.

Mason won the second game 4-3.

Cody Ream had a single for Dansville.

Tyler Bercaw, Colton McCaleb and Isaac Johnson all singled for Mason.

Ryan Myers pitched all five innings for the Bulldogs.
