Alas, your Bleacher’s pen was unable to handle the strain of varsity competition and had to be replaced at the end of the inning. If a couple more pens go, I may need to hold auditions for pens that can handle the job! On a more positive note, thanks to Fowler fan Therese Koenigsknecht for bringing a great chicken barbecue dinner from a Carson City barbecue event. It was a bit of a juggling act, but I was able to eat the dinner as I took notes!
